Welcome To Oktoberfest: Home Edition
With the Oktoberfest 2020 München cancelled, it’s up to us to make our own Volkfest. Most people have heard of the world’s largest Beerfest, but if you’ve never attended, you may not realise just how big it is. Lasting two and a half weeks, over six million people from all over the world head to Munich, Germany for Oktoberfest.
2020 has been a mind-blowing year, but you can have your beer and drink it too. Get yourself Oktoberfest t-shirts (you might need a few). Get your friends (on Zoom if you’re in quarantine), and sample the worlds finest selection of malted beverages. Don’t forget to include samplings of Schweinebraten (roast pork), Steckerlfisch (grilled fish on a stick) and Würstl (sausages). And you absolutely will need Brezen (pretzels). Enjoy!
Oktoberfest T-shirts Embracing The History & The Fun
When Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig married the Saxon-Hildburghausen Princess Therese in 1810 all of Munich was invited to the five-day party… and so the tradition began.
Although a German event, with visitors from every corner of the earth coming in each year, the event now has to last a little longer. But one thing that remains unchanged is the celebration. It’s still a time for fun, laughter, great beer and new foods. So that’s what our Oktoberfest t-shirts are all about – embracing the fun.
